Let Us Transform Your Home

Concrete Visions offers a full range of decorative concrete techniques for fresh concrete pours. From texture stamping that emulates stone and natural surfaces to stenciling techniques that look like brick, cobblestone or flagstone, and bold graphic patterns that look like... decorative concrete!

We can color all the way through or with surface accents, often with both. Our coloring agents include acid stain, integral color, color hardener powder, and bright polymer infused liquids.

Compared with other outdoor surfaces including wood and composite decking, our concrete surfaces are more affordable, longer lasting, and easier to maintain!

More About Concrete

Fresh poured concrete is where we started, and it is in our blood. A couple weeks away from the smell of fresh mud leaves us feeling incomplete.

We can stamp or hand-apply pleasing textures or stencil in brick or flagstone patterns. We can color your concrete with everything from color through and through to natural acid wash stains or bold colors in the latest technology for concrete coloring.

It is nice to get your structural patio floor and decorative treatment all in one shot and it is generally the least expensive option when circumstances allow.

Concrete Coatings

In cases where you have existing concrete that needs a facelift, either indoors or out, and removal and replacement is out of the question, it is often possible to re-coat the concrete with special cement mixes designed for that purpose. It provides a seamless and elegant floor where high durability and waterproofing are important. We offer expert installation of many unique texture and color combinations for everything from pool decks to interior floors. It is even possible to build a cement floor on plywood substrate.

We bring exciting new options for your finish floor, whether installed over existing concrete or wood framing. Our state-of-the-art dustless grinding equipment and attention to detail lay the foundation of a successful coating project.
Is your existing concrete floor kind of bumpy and wavy? We can flatten it out, even polish it if you like. We offer hand textured polymer cement overlays, pigmented and metallic epoxy coatings, vinyl chip floors, and a full range of options for coloring and sealing your concrete floor. Outside deck, balcony, or roof patio? We install the Westcoat ALX System which waterproofs and beautifies all in one system.

If you have wood floor framing, we can overlay a waterproof polymer cement floor for you over a steel reinforced base coat. The beauty of cement flooring can still be yours!

Hand Carved Mortar Cement

OK, you are familiar with cultured stone. It seems to be on every restaurant and mall entrance in America. But what if you want something different, with large rocks or a gnarly texture that the "lick and sticks" just can't do? Or what if smaller landscape boulders that can fit in a wheelbarrow just are not big enough for what you have in mind.

Carving cement mortar into organic shapes is the most challenging and rewarding work we do. Staff carver Tyriel McLean was fortunate enough to work with renowned artist Thom Hunt to hone his skills in the carving craft. By taking advantage of modern mix design additives and application techniques, we can make the magic happen in a vertical fashion. We can fabricate objects that look like large boulders, waterfalls, wood and trees, or archways. Make a real statement with your pool facade, water feature, entry, or staircase.

Countertops

If you are considering concrete countertops for your home, GFRC is a great option. It offers a number of advantages over traditional concrete countertops, including strength, durability, ease of care, and affordability.

GFRC stands for glass fiber reinforced concrete. It is a composite material that combines concrete with glass fibers to create a strong, durable, and lightweight material. GFRC is often used in the construction of concrete countertops because it offers a number of advantages over traditional concrete countertops.

One of the biggest advantages of GFRC countertops is their strength. GFRC countertops are much stronger than traditional concrete countertops, making them less likely to crack or chip.

Another advantage of GFRC countertops is their durability. GFRC countertops are resistant to staining and moisture, making them easy to care for. They are also non-porous, which means that they will not harbor bacteria or mold.

Here are some additional benefits of GFRC countertops:

* They are customizable. You can choose from a variety of shapes, colors, textures, and finishes to create a countertop that perfectly suits your style.

* They are sustainable. GFRC is made with recycled materials, so it is a good choice for those who are looking for a green option.

* They are low maintenance. GFRC countertops are easy to clean and maintain, so you can spend less time cleaning and more time enjoying your kitchen.

More about Our Organic Concrete Garden Art

In 2009, Bruce became interested in concrete mix design and the use of high-performance additives that have been developed to get the most out of our humble product. In the past decade, fabric forming has been developed by engineers, architects, and pre-casters to create unique new panels for building construction.

As a confluence of advanced concrete materials, fabric forming applications and fortunate blunders, these unique new vessels were created.

We are proud to present a unique line of eclectic garden sculpture art that takes organic shapes from the plants in the garden. We are very excited to lead the way in this funicular shaped forming. A unique one-off work of art is created by "finding" the shape for each vessel. The resulting shape is nature's natural response to the pre-stressors applied to the concrete.

Our vessels range in height from 16" to 42" tall. The larger vases can accommodate a five-gallon bucket for plant material. We carefully crate each piece and ship anywhere (additional charge). This is a highly custom product which allows us to respond to specific color, size, and shape requirements.

Bruce Bartley, Ty McLean and William McElhannon have been creating decorative concrete artisan projects for the last 8 years at our studio and onsite construction projects.
