How It All Started

Bruce Bartley and his young family left the big city Chicago life in 1978, and found what they were searching for in the high desert valleys, hills, and mountains of eastern Oregon. After fifteen years in the construction trades, Bruce left his millwright position at the local sawmill to start Rise&Run Construction Co. and Concrete Visions
